My second solo exhibition, You are my Home, ran throughout the entire month of May. Hosting it at the humble and charming Angomaringo Gallery was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the heart of Aarau’s old town, the gallery is surrounded by beautifully preserved architecture rich with history and cultural significance. Beneath the gabled roofs of Aarau—and especially under the roof of Angomaringo, adorned with intricate geometric leaf motifs, the flags of the canton of Aargau and the town of Aarau, and a radiant sun at its center—it felt deeply meaningful to present my work in such a special and symbolic space.
It was a true privilege to collaborate with Monika Wintermantel. She was an absolute joy to work with—gracious, intuitive, and deeply thoughtful. Her curatorial eye brought my works to life with a quiet elegance and care that I truly appreciated. I felt an instant connection with her. Monika’s warmth and philosophical presence were exactly what I needed at this stage of my journey, and her support was both timely and invaluable. Working with her was nothing short of magical.

The vernissage was a night filled with music, art, and vibrant energy. The evening opened with a heartfelt speech, followed by a short conversation prompted by Monika, offering visitors insight into my inspirations and creative process. I had the joy of singing alongside my dear friend Nemanja, who accompanied me on the clarinet, creating a soulful and intimate atmosphere. The response to the Floralscape series, The Gentle Rebirth and the textile works from Threaded Embrace was positive. In total, 47 pieces were exhibited—each one thoughtfully curated by Monika.

Over the course of the exhibition, many wonderful opportunities began to unfold. I was honoured to be featured in Aargauer Zeitung, and upcoming exhibitions have already been planned—one in Rome and another in Zurich next year. I’m excited to keep expanding my reach across Europe, forging new connections and deepening my presence in the art scene.
The response was heartwarming—not only in the conversations and feedback but also in the fact that 16 works were collected during the month. I feel thankful for the many beautiful exchanges that happened along the way.

The finissage was just as magical as the opening. I had the joy of performing again—this time with the incredibly talented vocalist and songwriter Beatrice, and Nemanja, who once again accompanied us beautifully on the clarinet.
Together with Filip, I also led a Lindy Hop workshop that naturally evolved into a beautifully spontaneous celebration. It was the perfect ending to a deeply personal and fulfilling month—one I’ll carry with me for a long time.
I truly loved every moment of this experience and look forward to what the future holds.
